Archive Lane offers certified notary services for individuals who need documents properly notarized as part of personal, family, or administrative matters.

Notary services are available as a standalone service or are often requested alongside Document Digitization or Genealogy & Family History projects when formal verification is required.

What We Can Notarize

We provide notarization for a wide range of documents, including:

  • Personal and family documents

  • Affidavits and sworn statements

  • Power of attorney documents

  • Forms requiring official notarization

  • Other standard notarial documents

Documents must be complete and unsigned at the time of notarization. If you’re unsure whether your document qualifies, feel free to reach out before your appointment.

  • Notary Services & Bundled Projects

    Archive Lane provides notary services in accordance with Pennsylvania regulations.
    The standard notary fee is $5 per notarization.

    When notarization is requested in conjunction with other Archive Lane services, such as document digitization or family organization projects, notary fees may be reduced or included as part of the overall service, when appropriate.

    Any applicable fees are disclosed prior to service.

  • What it is:

    • Official notarization of eligible documents

    • Identity verification performed in accordance with Pennsylvania law

    • A neutral, impartial witnessing service

    What it isn’t:

    • Legal advice or document preparation

    • Validation of document content

    • Guidance on how documents should be completed

    Notaries serve as impartial witnesses and cannot advise on legal matters.

    • All signers must be present at the time of notarization

    • Documents must be unsigned prior to the appointment

    • Notary services do not include legal advice or document preparation

    • Some documents may require additional witnesses

    We follow all applicable Pennsylvania notary laws and guidelines.
