Legacy Lineage Project - Extended or Multi-Line Research

$1,500.00

Starting at: $1,500+

Legacy Lineage Projects are custom, in-depth genealogy engagements designed for complex family histories, multiple ancestral lines, or long-term research goals.

These projects move beyond foundational family trees and focus on evidence-based analysis, documentation, and historical context, often requiring research across varied locations, time periods, and record types.

A $1,500 deposit is required to begin a Legacy Lineage Project. This deposit covers intake review, project planning, and the first research phase.

Legacy Lineage Projects do not have a predetermined total cost. Final pricing is based on project scope, the number of family lines involved, record availability, and research complexity.

Projects are completed in defined research phases, with pricing and timelines reviewed and approved before each phase continues. Balances are invoiced prior to delivery of completed research materials for each phase.

Research Timeline

Legacy Lineage Projects are conducted in research phases rather than a fixed number of hours.

Each phase includes:

  • Extended research across multiple family lines

  • Deeper exploration of historical records and timelines

  • Integration of photos and supporting documents (when available)

  • Narrative summary connecting people, places, and events

  • Organized digital delivery suitable for long-term preservation

This phased approach ensures research remains accurate, intentional, and aligned with long-term preservation goals.

What to Expect

  • Projects are tailored to the specific history and challenges of each family

  • Research findings may uncover new questions, alternate lines, or conflicting evidence

  • Recommendations are provided before additional research phases begin

Genealogical research is evidence-based and dependent on record availability. Research effort does not guarantee specific outcomes.

Best for:

  • Families preserving history for future generations

  • Clients seeking context and storytelling, not just data

  • Multi-line or complex family histories
