How the Archive Lane Process Works

Preserving personal materials requires care, clarity, and trust. Our process is designed to be transparent, flexible, and respectful of your time and your history.

Step-by-Step Overview

1. Choose Your Service & Place Your Order

Select the service or package that best fits your needs and complete checkout. Some services require a deposit or minimum payment to begin.

2. Select Delivery Method

During checkout, you’ll choose how your materials will reach us:

  • Mail-in:
You’ll receive instructions and one prepaid inbound shipping label (if applicable).

  • Drop-off:
    Pickup details

    • Location:
      60 W. Church St., Suite K
      Denver, PA 17517

    • Standard availability:
      Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
After-hours pickup is available by appointment.

3. Materials Intake & Review

Once materials are received, we:

  • Log and inventory items

  • Review volume, condition, and scope

  • Confirm next steps

No work begins until materials are reviewed.

4. Scope & Pricing Confirmation (If Needed)

If your project exceeds the original scope (additional pages, extended research, special handling), we’ll:

  • Review details with you

  • Invoice any remaining balance

  • Proceed only after approval

5. Work Begins

Your project is completed with care, accuracy, and intention. Timelines vary based on service type and confirmed scope.

6. Delivery & Access

When your project is complete:

  • Digital files are delivered through your secure Archive Lane account

  • Physical items are prepared for return or pickup

  • Any items returned after processing are returned using the same delivery method by which they were received

  • You’ll receive a confirmation once items are ready for pickup or have been shipped back

7. Ongoing Access & Support

Your digital files remain accessible as long as your account is active. We’re always available for questions, additions, or future projects.
